How to Enable Summary View in Feedburner

Feeds are said to be the important aspect of any blog.Feeds helps you to keep your users updated with your content via email.Having a list of large subscribers can help you to get a ton of traffic.Feedburner is the awesome service for this purpose if you want to go free.

Feedburner is the best used email service managed by google.Feedburner lets you serve your latest posts via email to the users who are subscribed to your feeds.Feedburner comes with full post view in its settings and most of you would be using the default view as you are not aware of the fact that it can be changed either or you do not know that how to change them.Well to your knowledge that you can also display the summary of your latest posts in feedburner with a link to your own site so that they can read the whole content on your site.There is no problem with showing full content in the email.But if you are showing full content in the email then why did the user will bother to visit your site.This will decrease your page views so as it will effect your earnings.So today i am going to tell you how you can enable summary view in your feedburner feed.

How to Enable Summary View in Feedburner



  1. First of all go here.

  2. Now click on Optimize Button at the top.

  3. Now click on Summary burner at the bottom of the list.

  4. As you have not enabled it yet click on Activate.

  5. Now you can choose your own Maximum length i have choose it 400 characters the default is 200.

  6. That is on you how much you want to show.

  7. Now just click on Save button at the bottom.

  8. Thats it friends now you have enabled the summary view.
